Matchpoint – March
County League Squash and Racketball
The Warwickshire leagues are fast approaching the end of the season and February was rounded off with an excellent 3-2 win for our 1st team over Leamington 1 putting them 25 points clear at the top of Division 1. There are two matches remaining with a home match on 4th March against Kenilworth 1.
It would be great to see the same level of support for the team as with recent home matches so please do come down and get behind them. The final match of the season is away at Edgbaston Priory on Monday 11th March.
You can check out the position of our other teams on the Warwickshire Squash website.
The new floor on Squash Court 1 is in the process of being laid at the time this Newsletter is being compiled and by the time members are reading this the court should be well back into play. This should provide a much more consistent playing surface than the old floor which could always surprise players with a variety of unexpected bounces..!!
Squash Club Championships
The Squash Club Championships are now in full swing. Next key date is 6th March when the 1st Round matches of the Open Category must be played. Please ensure all matches are completed on time.
