Please come along with your family and friends for an afternoon of stalls, children’s activities, bunny cuddling, tennis tasters and Squash Exhibition matches in conjunction with WORLD SQUASH DAY.

If you would like to volunteer on the day – please email the club. Volunteering will consist of talking to non-members and showing them around our facilities, or maybe looking after our raffle!

We warmly welcome back former member Ali Jafari back to the Club as Assistant Coach. Ali has been coaching in a number of clubs, most recently in Australia.

Ali will take over a large proportion of the coaching at the club, of course in full support of Head Coach, Chris Ryder.

Squash and Racketball

This season we are going to be very actively promoting squash and racketball. Not only to people new to the sport, but also to existing players who plays elsewhere. This will bring new members into the club and boosting participation in indoor racquet sports.

Introductions from members of relatives or friends who currently don’t play would be hugely welcomed – have a think about who you know that might be interested.

The 200 Club

With the new Squash and Racketball season about to begin we are seeking as much support as possible for our Teams with as many members as possible joining the 200 Club.

This helps to fund our teams and the Elite coaching so please consider joining as with several draws in the season there is also money to be won..!!

Please speak to Membership Services to sign up.

Lighting on Squash Court 6

squash court lights

Just in time for the start of the new season we’ve had the Court 6 lights replaced with units the same as our other courts, so hopefully no more problems with tubes failing and having to be regularly replaced. In addition the new loudspeaker has been fitted which enables those spectating behind Court 3 to hear the referee with scores and decisions.

Warwickshire Squash and Racketball Leagues

The Warwickshire Winter Squash and Racketball Leagues start early in October with the Ladies Squash Team’s home match on the 1st.

Our 1st Team’s 1st home match is on Monday October 14th against Coventry and N Warwicks 1st Team.

We’ve got a strong set of players again this season so would like as many members as possible to come down, support the team and watch some great squash.
